Introducing
Alex Budd – Researcher

Alex joined the Digital Board in January 2021 in order to kickstart a career in research, and he has already worked on senior leadership assignments in North America, Mainland Europe, the Middle East and the UK. He was particularly attracted to the close-knit and friendly environment of the organisation as well as the specific focus on technology and digital.

Alex primarily engages in candidate identification for the Digital Board’s executive search activities, applying research skills honed through his university studies. He also worked on our recently published Chief Digital Officer article. He enjoys the varied day-to-day activities of working for a small boutique firm and the exposure to the full lifecycle of The Digital Board’s projects.

Alex studied history at UCL, completing an MA degree in 2020. Outside of his studies, he contributed football articles to a personal blog that he ran with his friends, and a more established football website.
